The Emotions Clinic Australia is committed to excellence in Autism, Intellectual Disability and Mental Health.

We aim to make a lasting impact by building the knowledge, skills and capacity of the Mental Health workforce to make a meaningful difference for the 70% of individuals who experience mental ill-health in addition to autism.

We always welcome contact from Clinical Psychologists/Educational & Developmental Psychologists/Registrars interested in working within our Clinic and joining our established team of long-standing Clinicians. We offer a straightforward service agreement arrangement and do not take on practitioners as contractors. Practitioners have freedom to define their own days, hours, fees, client groups and type of work/services provided.

Clinicians typically provide one or more of the following services in Autism, ID and/or mental health, to self-managed NDIS and/or Medicare and/or private including:

  1. Individual mental health therapy (across the lifespan)
  2. Autism/ADHD Diagnostic Assessments or Cognitive/Educational Assessments (from ages 6 years to adulthood)
  3. Group programs (for parents/carers, children, teens and/or adults)

We have a strong commitment to providing a safe, supportive and nurturing environment. This includes regular individual clinical supervision with Dr Belinda Ratcliffe, monthly group supervision and a range of high quality ongoing professional development.  Access to our extensive testing and therapy resource library are all included in the services we provide for new practitioners under our service agreement arrangement.

Interested Clinicians are invited to email Dr Belinda Ratcliffe at and/or express their interest for our upcoming intake here:
